Spring Bloom Vineyard Walk & Luncheon on the Crushpad

May 26, 2024

Join us for a delightful spring stroll through the vineyards during one of the most magical times of the grape-growing season! As bloom season arrives, witness the grape clusters sending out delicate blossoms, each berry eagerly awaiting pollination by the gentle, warm spring breezes. If you've never experienced the intoxicating fragrance of a vineyard in bloom, prepare yourself for a truly special treat!

We begin at 11:00am with a winemaker-led stroll in our "Calliope" Pinot Noir Vineyard. After our foray into the vineyard and a splash of Rose', we'll convene on the winery crush pad for a delectable French soul food-inspired lunch thoughtfully paired with an array of spring-friendly wines.

Art in Moshin - Mylette Welch EXTENDED now thru July 26, 2024

July 26, 2024

Artist Reception: Sunday, January 28th, 2024 12:00-3:30pm

No appointment necessary - light nibbles and 3 wine tastes included. Wine by the glass available for purchase.

Artist Info: Painter Mylette Welch was born in the sun-drenched, color saturated island of Oahu. Her family moved two years later to dusty, dry Bakersfield. “Something was missing.” She remembers thinking, “Where did all the color go?” For anyone who has seen Welch’s paintings, it’s obvious that the color went into her playful portraits of stray dogs, children, old diners, and rusty trucks.

Mylette’s paintings are rooted in the Sonoma County landscape- gas stations, farmer’s markets, the vineyards, neighbor’s gardens, old trucks, and burger stands. But occasionally her paintings veer off into a surrealistic world of dreams and memories, where goldfish swim around the kitchen and accordions fly through the night sky.

“I like dreams bumping against reality.” she explained, comparing this juxtaposition to the moment when you first wake up and your dream is “out in the room somewhere.”
